5 YEAR Limited Warranty on Rearveiw Brand Products Note: 5 year warranty on Rearview brand products sold after July, 2011. All Rearview brand products sold before this date was 2 year warranty. This product is warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase to the original purchaser. Rearview brand cameras (water intrusion warranty), standard camera brackets (stainless steel) and camera cables are warranted to the original purchaser for life.( Non-Rearview brand products have 1 year warranty.) With prior approval, Rearview Systems will at its option, credit, repair or replace any defective product during this period. Rearview Systems shall not be liable for any consequential damages, expenses or injuries arising either directly or indirectly form any defects in these products or resulting from the use or abuse of the products. Proof of original receipt or invoice is required for the warranty to be valid. All returned units are to be sent to Rearview Systems transportation paid. Please send to the address shown below after receiving a return authorization Number. For authorization number call us at 1-800-496-1590. This warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof which, in the opinion of Rearview Systems, has been damaged through alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, or accident. THE EXTENT OF REARVIEW SYSTEMS LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT PROVIDED ABOVE, AND, IN NO EVENT, SHALL REARVIEW SYSTEMS LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY THE PURCHASER FOR THE PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO THE ELIMINATION OF EXTERNALL GENERATED STATIC OR NOISE, TO THE CORRECTION OF ANTENNA PROBLEMS, TO COSTS INCURRED OF THE REMOVAL OR REINSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT, OR TO DAMAGE TO ANY TAPES, SPEAKERS, ACCESSORIES, OR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties or liabilities. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. ANY ACTION FOR BREECH OF ANY WARRANTY HERE UNDER INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN A PERIOD OF 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE. IN NO CASE SHALL REARVIEW SYSTEMS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREECH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER.
